A new renaissance woman, Maria Mar is a writer, visual artist, life coach and book writing coach and an internationally known shaman, as well as a dance-theater performer. Maria has been featured in PBS and BronxNet television and numerous radio stations such as WBAI, WKCR (Columbia University Station), WADO (Spanish Radio), Brooklyn College Radio Station and La Nueva Onda 1190. Maria has taught creative writing for more than 15 years in the public school system and to adult women. She has brandished art as a tool for life transformation and specializes in personal growth through the arts and freeing the creative process.
As a shaman, she is known as the Dream Alchemist, and has helped thousands of women through her writings, workshops, performances and online services and products. Maria helps women to release the inner obstacles and manifest their dreams.
Maria Mar has worked with thousands of women in three continents and has published half a dozen books, including the Dream Kit. This kit includes a magical novel, audio meditation and workbook as the starting point for your personal quest to become and to live your dream.
Finally, Maria is the CEO of ShamansDance Publishing and Productions, a woman-owned and Latina-owned company.
