Your movement manifests

Okay, I’m back from a restful Birthday week.

Here’s my question to you:

How are you SHAPING your life in every movement of your body?

(To answer this, you need to FEEL how your body, energy and presence, your mood and emotions affect the space you walk in and the energies you meet.)

Below is an exciting experiment to find out.

For a week, you are going to move in your body as if you were a Mythical animal, part God/dess, part animal, whose every movement, sound and mood creates possibilities and changes environments.

  1. Begin each day with 5 minutes of slow, deep breathing. Make sure that your exhalation is as slow as possible in each breath cycle.
  2. As you breathe, become aware of your body warm, the rhythm of your heart and the substance of your body.
  3. When you get up, and for the rest of the day, feel how your body penetrates and shapes the air around you. You may want to wear a totem animal jewelry to remind you of the experiment during the day.
  4. Become conscious of your body temperature and feel your moods and emotions. When you get cold, warm, hot, prickly, fluid or thunderous, become aware of the energies moving inside you as emotions and then become aware of how this mood affects your movement and expression.
  5. Expand your awareness to how your mood, movement and expression affect the rooms you enter, the people you talk to on the phone and the people you meet.
  6. Every night, write a few observations in your journal.

During the last day of the experiment, read all the entries. What have you discovered about the power of your physical movement to shape your life?

Daily Healing Rituals: Healing Shower

TODAY’S TIP:

Transform your shower into a sensually delightful healing session.

  1. Place your neck and shoulders directly under the shower, so that it massages these parts. Breathe in and then as you exhale, intent clearly to release toxic anger, irritation and frustration. LET GO! Repeat the process, releasing toxic stress and tension. Repeat once more releasing fear and judgment. (Always use the adjective “toxic” to qualify what you release, as your subconscious is literal and some degree and form of anger and stress is healthy and necessary.) Repeat with whatever negative thoughts or habits are straining your BodySoul. Release as you feel the water running. Feel them being released through exhalation and running down with the water into the drain.
  2. As you touch your body, listen lovingly with breath and fingers to each part. Listen deeply, through skin and muscles all the way to organs. Connect to the truth of your body and the wisdom of your cells. It’s better to listen to your body than to compulsively try to “fix” it, as your BodySoul’s wisdom will convey the source of imbalance and the actions needed to bring balance.
  3. Feel and celebrate the sensual delight of your physical existence. As you touch each part of your body, express gratitude for its function. Your body is listening. Your subconscious carries your feelings and expectations to each cell and organ, improving your health potential.
  4. Chant healing sounds and words into the water as it falls in your body. Let those crystal forms heal your body.  For more information about the power of sound, words, emotions and crystal forms in water, see the resource section.
  5. As you touch each part, allow the divine light of God/Goddess, Buddha, Ancestors or whatever higher power you believe in to shower you and to penetrate into your body, as you pray “The Healing hands of light heal deeply where I touch.”
  6. Sisters: Kiss your breasts with the unconditional love of a mother and breathe deeply into them. Sing any of these words: “Harmony, Balance, Healing love” into the water and let it fall into your breasts.

Eating for health

TODAY’S TIP:

Eating life. When you eat the food that our Mother Earth provides, you are eating life. These are plants and creatures with life force who are giving themselves to become one with you. But you are also eating three more things: the emotions, thoughts and words with which you charge the food.

When you eat life, what else are you ingesting? Anger, frustration, rush, problems, negative thoughts, negative talk? Try charging your food with thoughts and words of gratitude and health. Try sustaining feelings of joy, openness and restoration as you ingest. You’ll health and your life will be better for this.

Release physical stress

TODAY’S TIP:

This one minute stress release helps you tap into and release the hidden emotions underlying habitual physical stress. Do it right now and increase your daily well-being.

  1. Stop what you are doing for a minute. Shift from doing to being.
  2. Seat up straight, but with your spine released, so that you are not sagging, but are relaxed.
  3. Close your eyes softly.
  4. Breath into your belly.
  5. Breath out very slowly.
  6. Breathe into your stomach.
  7. Breathe out very slowly.
  8. Breathe into your chest.
  9. Breathe out very slowly.
  10. Feel the part of your body that is holding tension. If there are several parts, choose one and do steps 11 to 18, then repeat for each part.
  11. Place your attention in that body part and breathe into it.
  12. Ask that part of your body: “What do you feel?” Listen.
  13. Whatever emotion you feel, simply accept it. It may be fear, anxiety, anger, sadness, confusion. Whatever it is, simply accept it with unconditional love. Do not judge it. Do not try to fix it.
  14. Ask that part of your body: What is causing this?” Listen.
  15. Whatever is the source, simply accept it. It may be a negative expectation, fear of the unknown, changes in or around you, financial troubles, desires to be somewhere else. Whatever it is, simply accept it with unconditional love. Do not judge it. Do not try to fix it.
  16. With your eyes still closed, bring both of your hands up to your chest. Feel the substance of your feelings and their cause and cup it all inside your hands.
  17. Give all that’s in your hands to God. Simply hand it over to Divine Universal Consciousness by stretching your hands and depositing everything in the Divine hands.
  18. Breathe in and feel the release, the lightness of simply being-in-trust and the unconditional love and support of God/the Universe. Breathe out and let go.

Full Breathing-3 minute practice

TODAY’S TIP:

What can you do in three minutes?

A) You can die if you can’t breathe that long.

B) You can live a healthier, more peaceful life if you practice full breathing three times a day for that long.

Which will you choose?

Here’s the 3-minute full breathing practice:

  1. Stand, sit or lay down comfortably. Your spine should be relaxed, but no vertebrae should be crunched. Don’t hunch.
  2. Place your right hand on your lower belly, beneath the navel and your left hand on your chest.
  3. Allow the air to enter your nose and open your torso to receive the air. Allow the air to travel all the way to your belly, without pushing or exerting effort. Your right hand will bob gently.
  4. Open your upper torso as more air comes in, allowing it to travel to your stomach, then reach your chest. Your left hand will bob gently.
  5. Place your tongue on your palate, behind your teeth. This will help you slow down your exhalation while connecting an energy circuit in your entire body.
  6. Exhale very slowly through your nose. The slower the exhalation, the fuller the relaxation.
  7. Repeat for three minutes
  8. Do this in the morning, at lunch and in the evening.
  9. Live a fuller, healthier life.

You body is the map to your dream

TODAY’S TIP:

Your body is a map of the unconscious programming holding you back. Try this experiment today: Observe the facial expression and body posture of people in the street. Without judgment, feel the impact of that stance as it resonates in your body.

As you see postures that convey heavy burdens, despair, rigidity or defensiveness and feel the impact of facial masks of sadness, disbelief or repulsion, notice that most people are not aware of the masks they carry.

This masks hold the unconsious and cellular programs that were downloaded into these people early on. This programming became so embedded in the self that you are unconscious that it is a program. Instead, you completely identify with it. But you do this unconsciously, in spite of conscious beliefs or desires that may be fully different. This programming is the Mask of Self.

To get in touch and release the Mask of Self, you need to practice Presencing (from the noun “Presence”). This is the art of listening to your BodySoul in full receptivity and presence. Your BodySoul will take you to that hidden universe within you where this programming runs, and then you can begin to change it, again through your BodySoul.
